Can I renew books if no one is waiting for them?

Yes, as long as no one has placed a hold on a book, it can be renewed.

You can renew books online from anywhere. Select Advanced Search from the Library Homepage.

In the upper right corner, click the sign in button and sign in with your portal user name and password. 

In the dropdown box under your name, click my library account. This will show you everything you have checked out and when the items are due. If the item is available to be renewed, click on the renew button.
